Masteron

Masteron (Drostanolone) is a steroid derived from Dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

It is available in injectable and ingestible forms.

The injectable version injectable is available under two esters, Propionate and Enanthate.

This steroid provides a very high level of androgenic hormones in the body, and thus a solid and durable musculature without water retention.

However it does not bring exceptional volume, which is why Masteron is best used in a stack with other products during a cutting or dry mass gains treatment: it will improve the quality of the muscle gained.

It should be added that this product stays in the body for a very short time, making it a precious ally for competitors.

Masteron does not aromatize and therefore causes no problems related to estrogen conversion. Its oral form it is also not toxic to your liver because it is non-alkylated.

Masteron (Drostanolone) Propionate

Also called propionic acid, the ester Propionate will slow down the release of Drostanolone for only 2 to 3 days. This is called a short ester.

To allow blood levels to rapidly increase, Masteron Propionate compounds are usually injected every other day.

Masteron (Drostanolone) Enanthate

This is one of the most important esters used in steroid manufacturing.

Enanthate will provide a balanced level of the hormone for about 10 to 14 days.

This is called a long ester.

Although in medicine Enanthate compounds are often injected on a monthly or even bimonthly basis, in a Masteron treatment, injections are twice a week.

Masteron in Detail

For a long time Masteron was a rare product on the market, so it was not used by the occasional sportsman but rather pro bodybuilders who liked it because it quickly cut down the body and did not cause estrogen-related side effects.

It was often fake, very expensive and difficult to find on the black market.

Fortunately the situation has changed and Masteron is now much more easily accessible.

In the late 1980s, Masteron was originally manufactured in Belgium by Syntex laboratories and came in 2ml vials containing 100mg of product towards the end of the 1980s.

But Syntex stopped production about decade ago, which explains the previous difficulty to procure Masteron.But no need to panic. Since this product is one of the most effective, a good number of laboratories jumped at the chance and launched production, including Thaiger-Pharma, Meditech and even MaxPro.

Masteron is available in non-alkylated oral form – which makes it NON-toxic to the liver – or as an injectable solution with Propionate or Enanthate esters. Masteron is derived from DHT which makes it strongly androgenic.

While most steroids are used in a medical context for weight gain, Masteron is not because this simply isn’t one of its main qualities.

It is used to fight some cancers and helps lower cholesterol levels.

This is also why we don’t use this product for a mass gains treatment. It is best for cutting, or potentially for dry mass gains in a stack with other products (Dianabol, Deca-durabolin, Parabolan…).

Masteron does not aromatize, but it can interact with aromatase enzymes to inhibit the aromatization of other steroids into estrogen.

A little like Proviron, it blocks estrogen receptors which prevents problems like gynecomastia and infertility.

Masteron Positive Effects

I will start this section with the fact that Masteron does not cause water retention nor risk of high blood pressure.

Since it does not aromatize to estrogen or convert to DHT and its ingestible version is non-toxic to the liver, Masteron is among the steroids with the fewest side effects.

It has practically none.

This steroid is especially appreciated by competitors because it quickly disappears from the body without leaving a trace.

They can follow a Masteron Propionate treatment until 3 weeks before a competition without worrying about failing an anti-doping test.

It will cause virilizing effects, including dense and durable musculature, without water retention or significant mass gains.

This is why it’s used during cutting cycles, often in a stack with other steroids that share this quality like Winstrol or Primobolan to optimize effects.

In this way Masteron is effective for obtaining a shredded and hardened look.

It’s important to know that though Masteron provides the user with a dense musculature, it does not reduce fat retention.

Therefore your diet and dietary supplements are essential.

Masteron will improve the quality of the muscle acquired during a mass gains cycle when combined with other more anabolic products like Testosterone, Parabolan, Boldenone, etc.

Under its Propionate form, Masteron is good for short cycles or at the end of a longer cycle.

This allows a quick transition from anabolically effective blood levels to sufficiently low levels that allow your natural testosterone production to recover.

Alone, this product is not really suited to building muscle mass.

Masteron will be effective whether you are cutting or gaining dry mass. The rest will depend on you and the products you combine it with in your diet and workouts.
